Every so often I get the chance to capture someone who is beyond beautiful, someone who is strong, and someone who is surrounded by a support system that clearly showcases love in a way rarely seen. Capturing Camille’s maternity session in Bellevue was absolutely one of those chances. Her and Andre met me on a rare rainless morning a couple weeks back and had some laughs and found some gorgeous light in the fields. As you scroll through the images, you may notice a few frames that show a series of scars on Camille’s baby bump. She’s been battling a cancer called LMS – Leiomyosarcoma – and clearly winning with her radiant personality and beautiful new baby on the way. If you’d like to follow her journey, and learn a bit about her and LMS, head over to her blog, Caring for Camille.
Thank you so much, Camille and Andre (And Steph!) for having me capture this magical time in your lives. I can’t wait to see your little one come into this world and into the arms of such a strong, caring, and beautiful family.
